Train Table Plans 18

As you can tell by the pictures we improvised just a little bit by adding a large storage bin with handles and casters underneath the table to hold extra track and cars. I think for the next table I build I will use Teflon slides for the bottom of the storage bin. The casters would move well on hard flooring, but they don’t move to well on carpet.

I have included the before and after pictures. We purchased a picture book of old Steamers and Diesels from Barns & Noble and my wife chose a variety of images from the book to decoupage the table with to finish it out.

When my son’s friends are over to play the train table is the center attraction for them.

I have one parent that would like for me to build their son a table just like ours. I am waiting for them to purchase the plans so I can get started. We wish you continued success.
