Then I thought, why not sell the plans on eBay and see what happens. Ebayers were so responsive, and I received so much gratification from the stories. As you can see from the testimonies on this site, the train table plans are easy and over 500 families are enjoying the results of their loving efforts.

Back on track with the story.... another year passed and we needed more accessories. The prices were staggering. And the builders of the train table were emailing asking where they could find reasonably priced train sets and accessories. Thus began my search and this site was born.

Building the train table with my Mom was fun, and most of all, created lasting memories.

My 3 year old son enjoyed "helping" with the sanding. A few months after the table was up he asked if he could paint a rainbow on the table. So, we have two rainbows in the corner of the table top - one painted by him and the other by his younger brother!

Now my son is 6, his brother is 4 and the youngest is 2. Over the last three years the table has been put to good use: trains, action heroes, trucks. It still is as sturdy as the day we built it!
