This weekend there are a lot of great train events that you can go to. The first one is in Timonium, Maryland at the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairground. The Great Scale Model Train Show + HiRail and Collectors Train Show is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday it will be open to the public from 9 to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost for admission is $7 general admission, $14 for a family pass and kids under 13 get in free. Here you will find over 800 vendors, 25,000 square feet of demonstrations and displays as well as train movies, clinics and demonstrations.
If you happen to be in Tampa, Florida this weekend, then stop by the Florida Stat Fairgrounds. Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday you can visit the Great Train Expo. Here you will find toy train vendors, workshops, demonstrations and operating layouts. Fun event for the entire family.
For people on the West Coast you can visit the Great Train Expo in Sacramento, California. The Great Train Expo will be held at the Cal Expo Center on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The cost of admission is $7 for general admission and free for kids under 12 years of age.
