The second week in January is a busy one for toy train events, especially during the weekend of January 12 and 13. During this weekend dozens of toy train events are scheduled across the country. So keep your eyes open for events in your area. Below are some of the shows that you may want to visit.
The first event is the World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour Event. This event is located in San Diego and will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. You can visit this event from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. The admission fee is $10 for adults and kids under the age of 16 are admitted free of charge.
The second event can be found in York, Pennsylvania at the York Expo Center. This event will be held from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults, kids under 12 are free and parking is free. There will be over 250 tables available.
The third event scheduled for the weekend of January 12 and 13 is the Dixie Classic Fair. This is a Great Train Expo Event and it will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on both days. It will be hosted in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Admission is $7 for adults and kids under 12 will be admitted free. Here you will find over 100 tables, over 20 dealers, a riding train for the kids, Atlantic Court S Gaugers, Central Carolina N Scalers and other N scale layouts.
