This weekend is a great weekend to be a toy train lover. If you happen to be in the Midwest around Ottumwa, Iowa this weekend, then you will want to stop by the Annual Railroad Fair Weekend Event. Located at the Quincy Place Mall, Highway 34 West and Quincy Avenue, Ottumwa, Iowa 52641, this event will be open to the public on both Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. Doors will be open 10:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and between noon and five on Sunday. Admission is free. Activities include a swap meet, operational exhibits, models and toy train memorabilia.

The real place to be this weekend is Arizona. There are two great train events scheduled. The first is the Annual Rail in the Garden Tour. This event will be held at eight different locations in Tucson, Arizona, and will feature eight different garden railroad displays. The tour operates between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will be open to the public on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a family ticket.

If you make it to Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend then you will want to stop by the Great Train Expo. This expo will be held at Westworld located at 16601 Nort Pima Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85260. Doors will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and kids under 12 get in for free. This event offers a lot of great activities including demonstrations, operating layouts, huge toy train market and toy train workshops.
