This weekend you have several great toy train events to choose from. The first is the Barron County Model Railroad Club’s 28th Annual Show in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This even will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Cedar Mall. Event times will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. Here you will be able to view O, HO, Sn3 and N scale layouts, talk to vendors and shop for toy train memorabilia.
If you are closer to North Carolina this weekend, then you will want to stop by the Black Cat Station Model Railroad Open House on Saturday. From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. the Black Cat Station, located at 800 Elizabeth Street, North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, will offer 5 great track layouts. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
Your third toy train event option for this weekend is the Piedmont Division Live Auction. If you are interested in toy trains and are in the market to add a few pieces to your collection, then this is the event for you. Make your way to the Elk’s Lodge located at 1775 Montreal Road in Tucker, Georgia on Saturday the 9th. The preview window for items to be auctioned will last from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and the auction will last from 7 until 10 p.m. Admission costs $5.
